Who is the Urban Goddess?

She is mother, executive, teacher and scholar. She is artist, partner, scientist and leader. She listens with her gut, speaks from her heart, and moves with a confident and determined grace because she knows her very being has meaning and consequence. She is the very pulse of Life.

We must re-frame what has become known as the "mundane" work of women and recognize its immeasurable importance. Modern society needs more of the gut wisdom women achieve simply by living as women. Its value cannot be measured by masculine standards for concrete evidence and achievement, it must be seen with inner eyes, heard with an open heart, and experienced through a very different way of "knowing." This is the very essence of an Urban Goddess.

A Return to Feminine Values

We’ve come a long way, yet there are still too few places within modern culture where we may openly voice our innate wisdom and insight and truly feel heard. As we awaken to our birthright and our inherent power as women in the world today, many of us are experiencing a deep and resounding restlessness; like a long awaited resurrection, a powerful contemporaneous Goddess archetype is emerging.

The only way we arrive at right answers is by asking the right questions. Let us then listen to the questions deep within our hearts, to what is of true importance; to honor all of life as sacred – to aspire for cooperation, peace, wholeness and love. The questions within our hearts are like lanterns along the dark path of our forgotten humanity, they are the inextinguishable light that will lead us home.

What is Feminine Power?

We must awaken to our authentic feminine nature, honor our role as mediator and consciously assume the spiritual responsibility of our lives, families, communities and planet. Each of us has all the knowledge and wisdom we need to create a life full of passion, meaning and unshakable consequence. Some of us are silent. Some of us are loud. Either way, we are the teachers, healers, and leaders of a New World View.
